I suck at life this week.. I spent pretty much the whole week at home either in bed or on the couch because I was sick, and left my two part-time techs to do all the work that needed to be done this week. So yesterday I had to write them each a check for a little over $1,200 and now they both want to work this many hours every week! The only problem with that is I never got any invoices out this week, so technically I'm paying them out of my reserve fund, and that's no good.. I was supposed to go to work today, but someone has to get these invoices out or no one is getting paid next week. Next week I really need to work my ass off because now I need to make an extra $2,400 to cover what I took out of the reserve fund, and still be able to pay these guys while making a decent profit for the week.. I could have been writing invoices last night and getting on top of this shit, but no.. I stayed up till 4AM watching the entire 1st and 2nd seasons of House on DVD.. I REALLY hate being sick, because as you can tell.. I'm completely useless!!

Anyway.. I spent the last 2 hours writing invoices, and going over notes so that I could justify the dollar amount on said invoices. I think my guys need a lesson in note taking because this is some sloppy shit I've been reading.. I realize we can't all be perfectionists like me, but c'mon guys... Be at lease somewhat detailed! And for fuck's sake how do you expect me to bill a client for 3 hours you spent searching google for a quick fix for a virus?!?!?! I'd say spending 3 hours searching for one kinda negates it's purpose as a quick fix.. Wouldn't you? Yeah.. like I'm really gonna charge someone $270 for that! See.. This is why I hate missing work and leaving it to these two..

Sorry.. I guess I needed to rant for a minute there.. I feel much better now.
