I woke up in such a great mood today, it's nice to finally feel better after being sick for over a week! I've almost finished all the work that piled up while I was sick and now I just have a comple of computers to fix so I can collect a check. I still haven't heard back from the recruiter from the company I'm supposed to be doing remote server administration for starting next month, but for some reason.. it really doesn't bother me.. I know that things will work out somehow, they always do.. I really don't have any right to complain about anything today because I've never had it so good. The boat is coming together nicely and I've got it to the point where living aboard is pretty comfortable.

I'm starting to reconsider sailing to mexico in april because I think I haven't really looked at all the posibilities yet.. What I'd really like to do is save up enough money over the next 3 months to be able to just sail from place to place untill I find the one that's right for me. I've been all over the USA and a lot of Europe, but there are still some places I'd like to check out while I'm able to. It's funny, I was just talking to someone last night about how it's not about where you're going, it's all about the ride.. I have to remind myself to take my own advice! I'm fortunate enough to be able to work from anywhere in the world, so I might as well enjoy this little journey I'm on while I can. I can't help but think it would be nice to have someone to share it with, but I suppose that will come in time.. Love always comes to me when I least expect it..

I'm listening to some really good music right now, it's a playlist I created a few weeks ago with a little bit of everything I love on it. There are certain bands that I've listened to since I was probably 10 years old and continued to follow over the years. It's rare that one will stay around so long and not dissapoint their fans, but I have at least 3 on this playlist that just continue to amaze me with each new album. I saw U2 again this year and as always, it was a great show. I'll never stop listening to the bands on my favorites list here on my profile, but my taste in music is pretty diverse.. Have you ever thought about what would be on the soundtrack of your life?

I think I'm gonna go play my guitar for a while and get some more work done. You know... I still haven't finished that damn song I've been writing and it's been like 9 months now.... Oh well... one of these days I will....
