My throat feels a little better today.. well, it sounds better anyway.. still feels like I swallowed razor blades.

I got maybe 4 hours of sleep at various times last night and this morning and at this point I look like something out of a zombie movie... Whatever you do.. don't try to cure larengitis with Jack Daniels... BAD IDEA! It sounded good at the time.. I swear... Between that and all the cough syrup, I was stumbling around drunk for most of the night or reading the boards on SG, which I do admit is a lot more fun when you're drunk..

I'm so bummed! I have to miss a meeting with a realy fun client tonight because I can stil hardly talk.. Mostly I'm bummed because I REALLY need the money and these people will pay me in cash! Gotta love free money!

I don't know what the hell just went by the marina, but my boat is rocking like a motherfucker! That's the only real complaint I have about living on a sailboat, it's a bitch when you're doing something and suddenly some tugboat goes right by the marina sending huge waves your way, then you have to stop whatever you're doing and make sure things don't fall off shelves! I need to build more cabinets so I can put everything inside them and not have to worry about it.

I'm going to go do something productive and build my new computer. The guy who sold me my boat is another professional geek and on Monday he moved to florida and let me pillage his other boat for gear, man did I get lucky! Brand new mobo's, 2 gigs of RAM, waterproof case, 5 hard drives and a big box of random cables, fans and widgets. Since the stuff is doing nothing but taking up space on my boat right now, I suppose it's time to build a new computer. I'm easily amused.. give me electronic gadgets to fiddle with and I'm happy..
