I spent between an hour and a half and two hours driving home from boulder tonight, and probably should have tried to stay in boulder. Everyone was going about 10mph on roads that were mostly just wet. there were occasional patches of ice and snow pack but not much. people are stupid, i had one oncoming car swerve into my lane right in front of me to try and avoid a patch of ice, apparently he never though about just going straight over it and end up safe on the other side like everyone else. also, if you have bald tires instead of weaving in and out over the entire road trying to control you car, slow down on the side and let people with snow tires get past you in a safe manner. oh well, i was laughing for most of it.
for the last three hours i've been playing in the snow. andy and i went driving in the rx, sliding all around. my car handles a little better than his, and we should compare them when he puts the studded tires on. ^* had some extra adrenaline skitching on an inflatable raft using a 12 foot tow rope on my car. ^^, snow flying everywhere. decent wide slides and donuts^^. also went skiing to try out my at bindings with and without skins on the skis. did a couple of laps on the mnt bike and went for a run... its going to snow all day tomorrow, high of 12 deg F and there is anywhere from 7 to 10inches on the ground out back *grin* ^^

Yeah, it took me 1 1/2 hours to get home last night from Longmont. I practically went up one hill sideways!! People are dumb though. They don't seem to get the concept that accelarating and decelarating are the problems, so you have to get up enough speed to make it up hills. They want to go 2 mph up hills, and then get stuck. Retards. The lot of them.
