I'm currently studying Karma Yoga in depth and have been inspired to veer my life in a direction with even more positive actions and selfless service. I guessed I was wasting at least SIX hours a week on Facebook. At least. So I deleted it and I'm using that time to volunteer at a women's shelter close(ish) to where I work. A darling and dear friend of mine (longtime readers you may remember him as the boy I had the hots for years ago with tattoos on his face) just donated to them just because he had some "extra money he didn't need". How truly inspiring and grounding.
So this is the part where I urge you to take some time out of your busy schedule to donate time or money to a cause you feel strongly about. Especially if you practice physical Yoga I urge you to expand your practice and do some good for others that need it. I grew up volunteering at soup kitchens with my dad on the weekends. He was there constantly on his days off. And he worked 60 hours a week (at least), coached teams, wrote books, furthered his education and was/is a killer dad.
So no excuses, right?
