Just made my first batch of pesto with basil and spinach from my porch garden!!!
Ok heeeere ya go:
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped and toasted
3 cups fresh spinach leaves
1 cup fresh basil leaves
2 cloves of garlic, peeled and chopped
pinch of salt and black pepper
1 tbs fresh squeezed lemon juice
3 tablespoon grated vegan parmasesn cheese (galaxy nutritional food has a great one at whole foods)
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
blend blend blend blah blah blah enjoy!
