I saw David Sedaris, and he was wonderful and read things from his new book and his journal and also one thing from this anthology, and he signed my book with a picture of a jack-o-lantern with bags under its eyes ("because pumpkins are easy to draw") and gave me a sticker from a store in Bankok with this really ugly monk dude on it (this is true, I promise), and this sentence goes on forever because I'm happy!
Also, hanging out with humbert and others. We went to where the zoo used to be and climbed up to the top of one of the habitats. Fenced with long sticks and fought dragons. Like being very young again.

When I read your last journal, I looked up Sedaris, and he was in Santa Fe that same night (so I missed it). Otherwise I would have checked it out.
