I'm completely ready to finish Anna Karenina. So happy to have time to read now, so that I can finish the thing. I love it, but it's seems like I've been reading it forever. Damn you, Oprah, for branding books I like. At least I'm not reading the book club edition. Maybe this is just very elitist of me. Yes, definitely elitist.
In other news, hung out with humbert today. We wrote good things.
Also, we decided that I need to have a feminist party. We will have a freedom trash can, and play the game where each person has a prominent feminist's name written on her back, and has to ask yes or no questions in order to guess who it is. Then, we will write angry, yet eloquent letters of protest and have tea. (The tea is not compulsory, but it gives us an excuse to eat scones.)
I get to see David Sedaris on Friday. Yay, I love him so much!
Oh, and Pride parade-ness on Sunday. So many gay men with little dogs and potentially dirty political slogans ("Lick Bush", "Wax Bush", "Lesbians Against Bush", etc). Oy vey.
