Hup hup HUZZAH!
Relaxing to some of The Postal Service on Spotify and reveling in my upcoming five days of work. That's right, ladies and gents, the next five days of my life will be roll-free. Well, except for Turkey Day, but I made my mother swear to buy a different brand.
The weekend was very mellow yet funfilled. Got picked up by the boy (ohmygodsquad) Friday night, demanded sushi and tempura squid. Followed by wonderful times at the hookah bar (and a very attractive lady working there - got a major crush going now.) Saturday was brunch with friends, thrifting, and then my boy's roomie cooked an awesome meal. I made a pie! Wrapped up the night with a nice wine and the movie Moon. A little depressing if you think about it too long, but a great film.
Sunday started with Dunkin Donuts and ended with me heading home. Boo. I always miss my weekend home.
Thrift stores are magical places, don't you agree? I found this lil fella and had to take em with me. After following my boyfriend around the store, rubbing the new delight against his neck, and going "Meeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrw." He's been christened BartholoMEW "Waffle House" Jones, and I love him.
The weekend was spent carefully positioning him around the apartment and terrifying...anyone I could, really.
Tonight I am exhausted with fish tacos and sangria in my belly. Hi.
