About 20 minutes ago my Ginacue arrived. This cue was ordered back in January as a back-up plan to the cue by Bert and Pat Schrager that I order 5 years ago. I was informed late May that due to accelerateting health problems I would not be recieving that cue, and 3/4 of the money that I paid for the cue was returned to me. In retrospect ordering the "Gina" was a wise decision so I would have a cue sometime this summer. While I'm sad that I will never get a Schrager from Bert and Pat directly they remain friends of mine, and I will buy one on the secondary market eventually. A Ginacue is a cue built by Ernie Gutierrez, he named his cues Ginacue after his daughter Gina. Now that Bert Schrager is offically retired Ernie is the elder statesman of cuemaking. Ernie has also made some of the faniciest cues ever built, and some of the most costly cues ever built. He is the only living cuemaker to be inducted into the Amercian Cuemakers Association Hall of Fame.
