here at work.
nothing really new is going on. at least it is going to be a nice easy week. no saturday work this week, and it is pay week. however it also means that i have to pay the car payment, and car insurance this week cause of the way the due dates fall this month. oh well.
i did get some cool news last night though. the one billiard / pool cuemaker that i have been waiting almost 5 years for a cue called me last night, and told me that my cue will be the last cue that he, and his wife ever make. this cuemaker is a legend in the pool /billiard world. over the years he, and his wife have become friends, and we rutinely have phone conversations that last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. they are really great people. it is a shame though cause bert is suffering from Parkinsons, and early Alzheimers (you all know by now that i can't spell for shit). it will be absolutely very cool though to have the last cue that they ever make. the cue was never supposed to be fancy. in fact it is supposed to be very plain, much like the cues that his mentor Harvey Martin, used to make, and that he started out making. when he called last night he said that he, and Pat (his wife) where going to do something special for it being it is going to be their last. i though that was very nice of them to be making me their last cue.
anyway i have to head back into the plant, so have a good day.
