A few days ago I came home to find water spewing everywhere in my yard. I called my water company and they came out and told me a pipe had busted by the meter, but since it was the pipe that feeds to my house they were not obligated to fix it. Long story short I didn't have running water for almost three days. It was horrible.
This leads me to the reason for this post. You should NEVER take anything for granted. You'll never truly appreciate something until you have lost it. Take a look around you, you have so much to be thankful for. I know I have more than I deserve.
Also I took an amazing bubble bath in celebration of having water again. :)
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, and confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
