This is my first SG Homework assignment and I'm so excited about it!
The lovely @missy, @rambo, and @charmaine have asked for our favorite fictional characters and why... This was a no-brainer for me. My favorite fictional character is easily Patrick Bateman from the movie American Psycho. If you've never seen the movie then stop reading this right now and go watch it!
He is by far the best serial killer anyone has ever created. (Even though he doesn't actually kill anyone) He's not just some crazed psychopath. He's is a normal successful man, completely relatable. Eventually the pressure to be perfect and the best at everything creates so much stress that he becomes delusional. He gets so caught up in his own lies and cowardice that creates this monster that he believes to be himself. But in the end he just becomes more lost and confused about who is really is.
