quiescence

Well, my VD wasn't nearly as bad as last year...but it is hard to top a 12 hour day managing a restaurant (if you've never worked a restaurant on VD, you're lucky) with a 104 degree fever and running solely through the dubious intercession of TheraFlu and Dayquil. This year I was only mildly sick and spent most of the day napping or running small errands.
The only notable bit was hanging out with Sid and a few others last night.
I hope everyone else had a lovely day and commemorated St. Valentine being accidentally stoned by well-wishers who wrote him notes of support while he was imprisoned. They wrapped them around rocks and threw them into the window of his cell, which was rather small.
I want that on a Hallmark card.
