quiescence

So pretty much all of this week has been the trip from hell. Cars breaking down (mine and both my parents on the course of the drive from Ohio to Connecticut), a lack of rental cars (from CT to Boston), a lack of my department ever having been notified of my attendance (at Boston University), and many many headaches. All around a grade 1 clusterfuck that I hope I never have to repeat.

On the upside of all that, I have my apartment all sorted for life in Boston and I'll be moving in on Saturday and everything with my department has been squared away. I just have to register for classes and get started.

Oh yes, and on the upside of things I got a rather nice chunk of cash from some relatives for my birthday, so I'm now pondering what to get pierced once I get to Boston...
