Absinthe is sooooo tasty.

So I have no desire to go to work tomorrow. None whatsoever. I've even entertained thoughts of not showing up and just skipping out. I'm only there until Friday, but by then I need to pack up most of my apartment, find housing in Boston, and practice like a little bitch for the World Pipe Band Chamionships. Work is, at this point, only getting in the way of things that I'd rather/should be doing.
If only I didn't need money and felt obligated not to screw my employer...*sigh*

I also want some body mods. I want an industrial and a daith in my right ear, a rook in my left, and some 8-10 gauge piercings in my lobes. I want to get my tattoo done (a self-designed heraldic device {I know about these things, what with being a medievalist and having studied heraldry} [A field gyronny sable and argent, dexter and sinister two stars quatrepointe, a cat sejant for those of you who know the lingo]) However, I am broke. I should meet a cool piercer who will do work on me in exchange for pipe lessons... Yes, that is the best plan.

I am sure that there is someone else on this site that is involved in piping or drumming. I have no justification for such a conviction, mind you, but it would be cool. If you're out there (and I know you are) you should say hi.
