What do you call nigh until 18 hours with your pipe band in two days?
Fulfilling. Everyone is working their asses off to make sure we sound as good as we can. No one is slacking, no one is just going along or being complacent, and, surprisingly actually, no one has allowed our success so far to let them think that we will have any easy victories.
Playing with a group of people that is so dedicated to producing the best music we can in a proactive and supportive environment is amazing. The amount of professionalism and camaraderie in the band is something I am proud and lucky to take part in. The fact that we've been whupping some ass this year only makes it better .
The North American Pipe Band Championships are next week, and I look forward to (very possibly) winning them.
