quiescence

I just got back from the Loch Sloy highland games in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada. My band, through much hard work, came in first in Grade II today. It was a very tight competition, with strong performances from all 8 bands present. So, now we can add the Canadian championship to the American one we won last month. In August we have the North American and the World pipe band championships to go to. So far so good, eh?

Right now however I have a few friends over and a glass of Laphroaig in my hand, so that's about it for now.
