well good news. my dad is doing better. they though he had a blood clot in his leg along with some dead tissue. they found some dead muscle in his leg so they had to remove that area so that the toxins in the dead tissue would not destroy his kidneys. do that and looking to find the blood clot, which they did not find one , so as it stands he will not loose his leg and will hopefully be out of intensive care soon.
