Must stop wasting so much time on this site.

I was very sad this weekend because I was rejected from this study tour I applied to go on in the spring. It was a class about education reform in China and Japan, and in May, you'd get to go on a trip to Tokyo and Beijing. I had a rec from one of the best, most respected profs on the faculty, good grades, I'm a senior, East Asian Studies is one of my majors, and I've never been to Asia. I thought I'd be a lock. Ah well. I'm getting pretty good at handling rejection. That's a good thing, I suppose. Everyone says so.

I spent a good portion of the evening lying in a darkened room with Revolver in my headphones. Not a bad way to spend your time. Strangely, when I was feeling sad and dejected, it was Yellow Submarine that made me cry. Then Tomorrow Never Knows envigorated me, and it was okay.

Saturday night I drank a whole bottle of wine by myself, then I made drunken phone calls and wrote drunken emails and Aster and I played until bedtime.

Question posed into the void: Should I pierce my nose?
