So Mum's alright. For now. Thanks to everyone for the sweet words.
I had a good chat with her the other day, and that helped.


Today, I handed in my intuitive model for the show I've been working on in class.... I had used clay and spent hours on it. I even smashed it with a hammer, and then glued it back together - I wanted it to look broken.
My prof liked it.

Thank goodness.
I feel like all day, I've been waiting to exhale after my crazed weekend. I've started to sigh, but it's more like letting the air out of a balloon.

Maybe I'll watch "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?" again tonight. I love those dames - Joan Crawford and Betty Davis.


Oh God. Just had a terrible thought. I really don't want to end up looking like Baby Jane as I age. I mean, it's really not the kind of appeal I'd like to exude....
I'll prolly end up like Anne Bancroft in "Great Expectations".

I'm keeping my finger crossed for a non-plastic Phyllis Diller.
A gal can dream, can't she?

And study, which is what I will do. Right after my nap.
