Sundays have always depressed me.
It's that long dark teatime of the soul that's the worst, too... That 2pm until who knows when that really kills me.
Perphaps if I got my ass out of bed before noon and did the traditional absolution on Sundays? But I'm too much of an existentialist for that. Plus I really like sleeping in. Making brunch and reading the weekly Vue or See magazine in funny pjs is fun, too.
So I've finally consciously decided that theatre is not only art and life... But lifestyle. Sitting around Boston Pizza late last night with the drama geeks was fun. Everyone has horror stories of shows having to go on (and shows that probably shouldn't)... There were a lot of good stories, too; fun designs, learning to play with rigging, improv anytime anywhere...
I saw A Doll's House at the Uni last night. Three hours of Ibsen done very stylized and symbolically. I enjoyed it, though - and I had to cry just a little when Nora went through her fabulous monologues at the end.
Well, at least I don't have class tomorrow. Only swing dancing in the evening, yay!
Happy Sunday, kids.
