Goodness!
Just got home from the Fluffgirl burlesque... That's right, I made it.
Had to sit through an interminable lecture on Egyptian artifacts in my History and art class first... You'd think that since the subject matter is interesting, it would be a wonderful class. I think I only stayed awake because I was doodling. Oh well.

Back to the burlesque. I met codeboy2, who is adorable. I also met a friend of his and we shimmied onstage. Ya heard that, This_Aint_No_Picnic? Turns out all I needed was a beer and to be inspired... Sigh. I officially have a massive crush on Rusty, the head burlesque dancer. I also wanna be a burlesque star!
I can do the tassle trick, dammit.
Well, I am auditioning for a band next week.. Mostly 80s covers (Blondie, anyone?), so hopefully I can shimmy just once in a while.

Well, bed and an 8 am class beckon. But I have a new fluffgirl tanktop to wear (no laundry asap!) and shall be dreaming sweet, sweet dreams...
