Hi kids!
Just got back from the longest day I can remember for a while. Saw the Warhol exhibit at the Vancouver art gallery (which was VERY good, even by my snobby standards) - then to Ikea, where I was overwhelmed by Bahaus-like furniture at reasonable prices.
I was going to meet up with dear angel_vanilla, but it seems that my (father's) cell was fucked - and by the time 7pm rolled around, I was too wiped to party. I headed home on the ferry with my friends, mourning my loss (and my lack of sleep the previous evening).
While I was out, my boytoy called. I giggled like a school girl when I got the message; unfortunately I still don't have his number, so another kidnapping may be in order.
Tomorrow I fully intend on sleeping in, sewing and watching movies - all in my pjs. And a bandana, because I've recently decided that I want to look like Rosie the Riveter whenever I have the chance.
Saturday I go swing dancing at the airport museum's hangar dance; this is the 6th year in a row I've gone. I'm really excited; they clear out the hangar and hire a full big band (and give out free sammiched).
SGVic is trying to get together to party, partly on my insistence. I feel badly that my availability sucks - but such is the life of a video clerk (working at night) and student trying to get all last-minute things together for school. We *will* have a fabulous time together, soon - and if not, they're all invited to stay on my floor in Edmonton. So there.
Love to everyone-

Have you ever seen the Reduced Shakespeare Company perform? I love them. You should check them out.
