So I had a fabulous time in Vancouver - and tho I'm not sick yet, my throat was sore last nite. Bleh. 
Saw a friend's band play (haven't seen them for a year) and they're fucking fabulous. It's metal, which I am normally not so fond of, but it was amazing. My friend is the drummer and he reminds me of Animal from the Muppets - only more crazy. They're 7th Sunn and they play at the Cobalt on Aug 13th, so youse guys should go if you get the chance.
Also saw some other friends visiting Van from Red Deer - we went to gay mart, several porn stores and Cheap Thrills (Billy Hopeless wasn't working). I got fishnets and a Swinging Utters CD
and one of them got a corset, which was pretty great.
One of the stores had a pvc sailor suit, which I was all over - but sadly, far too expensive. I suppose I could make my own...

Okay, I have to feed cats now and take some ecchinacea.
