I have decided that Chicago will forever hold the key to my heart. When I arrive there my heart sings and when I leave, it sinks.
After having spent my Birthday weekend there I have come to a revelation. It's time to move back. I miss all the free events and shows that the City offers. I miss walking down the street and seeing over 10 unique restaurants all in a row.
I'm sick of having to pay to be entertained and fed by the same lousy chain restaurants. It's time to shake off my boots and get to work. As of this moment, I am making myself a promise. By this time next year I will be in and or very near the City of Chicago.
I plan on having a job, a train/bus pass, a killer apartment, and a dog. It can't be that hard to drop everything and start over. Can it?
If anyone has any suggestions as to how to do this, please enlighten me. I'm ready for a fresh start in the greatest city on Earth (well, at least in Illinois).

You've already done two of the biggest steps figuring out that you want to move back, and setting your mind to making it happen. The rest will work itself out once you get some momentum going! Sometimes you just have to answer the call of your heart and follow it wherever it leads
