Happy Sunday Funday everyone!
It has been a busy weekend. Yesterday, I spent the day at the local Pride fest and I must admit I am proud to say that there were ZERO haters at the event! I understand that we all have the freedom to express how we feel but it makes me uncomfortable when it comes to anti-homosexuals. Most of my closest friends are gay/lesbian and I love them for being true to themselves and their partners. It hurts to see small minded people belittle their love and devotion to each other. I appreciated that my city followed the code "If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all".The rest of the evening was spent at the local watering hole with the besties. I'm not much of a drinker, but I do love getting all gussied up and spending the night playing darts with my friends. There is something therapeutic about throwing a sharp pointy object at a target filled with tiny holes. It's just clean simple fun and I love it.
Today was spent at a local art fair. I live for art fairs. It's a beautiful testament to the talent that is right outside my front door. Now, I am not in the least bit artistic. That gift skipped me and went right into my little sister. However, I do have the good sense to enjoy others talents and support local art by buying a few pieces. To bad I'm shit ass broke and couldn't afford any trinkets this time around. Oh well I'll save my money and buy a permanent piece of art. June 16th is my next tattoo appointment and I couldn't be more excited! I have waited for this piece ever since I first saw the Tim Burton cult classic "The nightmare before Christmas". I promise that when we start the process of tattooing this sleeve I will create a "tattoo diary" complete with photos to track the process!
Well thats all I have to report for today. I hope all of you are enjoying this beautiful weekend!
To each and everyone of you xoxoxo
