I have a snow day! No classes! No stats class! YAY! This makes me happy, I slept in, and it was lovely. YAY! All the ice makes it wonderfully dangerous and slick and undriveable. Which unfortunatly means no babysitting and no cash, but oh well, tis all good! Except I need the cash for my next piercing endeavor, and shoes.... but it's almost March, I may be getting my $100 mommy check, for foodstuffs, so that means I don't have to spend my money on food! I'm a spoiled brat, well, maybe not brat, but I am a but spoiled. A lot of mom's don't do that. But I'm also young, so she'll excuse me for the time being. I know it won't fly for too long outta school.
In other news, Happy Valentines Day! Despite my not single status, I shall be spending the corporate card holiday alone..... well not alone, I have a several roommates, but you get the idea. Either way, it doesn't bug me, we have lives, and we live an hour away from each other. lol he just IMed me with kisses. Cliche and cute. He also deemed it necessary to send me roses yesterday.... which I totally wasn't expecting. But we really haven't made a big deal, and I kinda like it that way. It makes it easier on me, since as previously stated, I lack in cash. I'm a college student! What do you expect?
Also in honor of this lovely day, we made cupcakes last night. All vegan, all amazing. I am the cupcake queen! I made a chocolate strawberry creme cupcake..... not that hard really, your basic chocolate cupcake, cut the top out in a little cone, and lpipe with buttercreme frosting (vegan of course!) Then spoon saucy strawberries in, more buttercreme, and then replace the top gently but firmly. Add another dolop of buttercreme, and you're all set for some messy gooey cupcake goodness! I adapted it a bit, because I am not a cherry fan, but the results were spectacular! Everyone should make vegan cupcakes. Because I said so!
