so for christmas i made out like a bandit! boyfriend gave me an mp3 player. he is amazing! boyfriends dont get you mp3 players, thats what grandmas get you. so this was a welcome surprise. and my sister gave me a hello kitty toaster!! lol it toasts the bread with a hello kitty face!! soooo cute! and i got a full cooking set... all the pots and pans i need. i would like a heavy omlet pan..... but thats another day. and i got some cute socks and a lovely bathrobe thats super soft and purple and some scrumptious chocolate from trader joes. and clothes. always get clothes! lol i did get a nice jacket, and i like it muchly. i'm going to have soooo much stuff to take back to school with me. tis ridiculous! but it's all stuff i wanted/needed and with enjoy and use. so i'll be all gravy for a while! lol even though i just bought my self a sweater and a pair of shoes...... lol they were on sale!! ten bucks each! lol!

new years!!! i'm excited, i'm making a crazy crazy meal, should be really good. well, it will be if i get to do my menu, but apparently, we may have some picky eaters. grrr! so i'll find out if i can make my crazy food plan later today. and how many people i have to cook for! lolol. this should be fun times! so far, my ideal menu includes spanakopita and crab stuffed mushroom caps for appetizers, multi cheese ravioli (made by me!) with a tomato-curry sauce first course. surf n turf with excellent steak and shrimp and either a baby green salad with feta/goat cheese, pine nuts and a balsamic vinegrette or green beans sauteed with mushrooms and red onions and garlic. i cant decide.... i may make the salad for less cooking. and a fresh baguette made by me!! lol and for dessert, either a cheesecake or a fruit tart. or something else sumptuous and lovely. i'm excited, and can't wait. gunna be soo much cooking for me, but thats alright, i wanna do it. and then of course, get drunky! lolol horray for new years and blowing tons of money on expensive food!
