I read a political blog the other day by Fear The Reaper entitled Angry Black Men Are Scary. In that article FTR made some very good points. Especially when he was talking about Francis Schaeffer, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell and John Hagee advising some of our former presidents, candidates and other political figures. He is very correct about them and their comments are very distasteful and despicable.
In that light why would we want to elect B. Obama to the office of President of the United States? Obama has been listening to the ranting of Jeremiah Wright, a man who is quite obviously an unhinged raving lunatic, for the past 20 years. This is not good for our country. FTR seems to think that because previous leaders have listened to and been advised by religious leaders on previous occasions that is only right that Obama be able to get counsel from the good Jeremiah Wright. This is wrong. There is an old statement that two wrongs do not make a right and that is correct.
Why should we elect an incompetent clown like Obama to the presidency, especially after he has been indoctrinated by the ranting of Jeremiah Wright? Is it not time we tried to break away from the mold and actually elect someone to the office that has the countries best interests at heart. Electing Obama to the office of President would be similar to hiring a kid off the streets with no experience to be CEO of a major corporation. Not a good idea. All electing Obama will actually do is to further divide this country. It will serve to increase an already wide racial divide and drive a further wedge between our citizens.
At this juncture, you are probably wondering for whom I think you should vote. Let us look at that for a few moments. Hillary Clinton is a lying nasty bitch. She is very probably a communist. She has stated on several occasions that we should redistribute the wealth. Tax the "RICH" to get the money for various governmental programs. What is this thing that some people have against the rich? If I have my way and work hard enough perhaps one day I will become rich. If I am fortunate enough to succeed at this, I'll be damned if I want some nasty ugly used up political hack of a bitch trying to take it away. BESIDES!!! We have already suffered through 20 years of the Bush/Clinton administrations. If we screw up and elect Hillary then we will suffer through another possible 8 years of that crap. Then after she is out of office I hear people saying that Jeb Bush should run. After that who do we elect, Chelsea Clinton and then one of the Bush twins? YECH. We do not need anymore political dynasties. It is really is time for a change.
Who can we vote for now? Well if we can't vote for Obama or Clinton, at this point you are probably thinking I am for John McCain. WRONG!!!! He is as bad in his own way as Obama and Clinton. Every four years I keep looking for a good political candidate for whom to cast my precious vote and every four years I am disappointed and end up voting for the one I consider as being the lesser of the evils. The candidate that I think will screw up things the least.
The Democrats have a modern history of running unelectable candidates such as McGovern, Humphrey, Mondale, Dukakis, Gore and Kerry. They got lucky with Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter. Jimmy Carter was probably the finest man that has been President in the last 40 years but was one of the most ineffective Presidents. Now I am not by any stretch of the imagination saying that the other men were not good men. They were and are good men; however, they were not electable. Sometimes there is no difference in the candidates of the two major parties as in this forthcoming election. Another example was last election with GW Bush and John Kerry. All of the political posturing and rhetoric aside, Bush and Kerry were both members of the Skull and Bones Society at Yale University and graduated within a couple of years of each other. Kerry would have been no different than Bush. They had the same hidden agendas.
If you think either of the political parties have your best interests at heart or that they really care about you, then you are in need of professional help or a tinfoil hat. All either party cares about is staying in power. Over the last 40 years the things that have been viewed as a national crisis have been talked about every election.
Health Care
Social Security Reform
Foreign policy
Illegal Immigration
Crime
And now the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.
And many I am sure I have temporarily forgotten.
They have been talked about and nothing has ever been done about them. In the past few years our Senate has spent more time on worrying whether or not some baseball player took steroids than on running the country. I ask you, do you really give a coyote's ass whether or not Barry Bonds took steroids? I could care less. I especially do not want to hear about it constantly for a number of weeks.
What America really needs is a third party candidate that actually cares about the United States and our citizens. I think we need a candidate that if FOR THE PEOPLE, a candidate that is of the people, for the people and by the people. ALL OF THE PEOPLE.
That is just one man's opinion. Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts.
