It's an older design based on Cthulhu. I was watching a nature program one day about cuttlefish and how they can change shape and colors. And I thought how cool would it be if Cthulhu could change it's appearance like that too. So I drew him disguised as one of those old time-y gentleman sort of dudes, like what you might find in a Sherlock Holmes story or one of the Hellboy comics. His tentacles all arranged like a fancy beard.
I have a small lead at the moment but I fear I could lose the lead with me being gone for 2 weeks.
Anyway. You don't have to vote if you don't want to I know how big a pain in the ass it is to sign up for crap.
Good news I was able to have a chat with that lady I was all butt hurt over and her new boyfriend and un did the damage I caused. Still a work in progress.
Feel pretty silly for loosing my cool, and being such a dick head about the whole thing.
But it's a big relief to be back to normal again.
I will be on mandatory family vacation till the 18th at Cannon Beach Oregon. Wish me luck. I love my family, but, well you know how that goes. I'll try to get some SG fan art done while I am away. I do take request if you want to be drawn. I can't promise it won't be totally weird and or creepy though
Actually I could use your help with this. I have a sketchbook project for next years art house co op 2012 tour
and the theme is Heros and Villains. I would like some volunteers. I just need permission to draw you, and your favorite super hero or villain, and I will try to draw you to look like them. Sound good? I drew Roobz as Rogue from x men if you want to see a sample of how it might turn out. It's just a fun side project so I won't be making any money of them or anything.
