It's a short one today. I found some free Andrew Loomis art books in pdf format I wanted to share. I have always wanted to draw this way, but I found his shape based approach to be super methodical and well, boring, so I gave up. I'm going to give these lessons a second try, wish me luck. I have some new brushes, some black walnut ink on the way and some 32x30in matt boards to draw on. It's going to be epic, all I need is just a little patience.
So I guess I lied about it being short.
ok first try.
It feels so weird working at fast speed, I'm so used to taking a long time on things.
I'm starting with faces because it's something I'm comfortable with, I want to work up to multiple full body poses with props and back grounds. eek
