Today's show is Burn The Floor. I've see broadway dancing, ballet and some cool modern stuff, but I'm not that familiar with competitive ballroom dances, should be interesting. It's one of the things I like best about my job, I've always liked both performing arts and visual art's, but I choose the fine art route when I went to college because it was something I could do from home so it seemed like a good idea. I'm glad I found a job where I get to see all the performing art's stuff that comes to town and still do the art thing on the side.
If you are in the Portland area, it will be at the Keller Auditorium, till the 12th more info on the site. You can always try the box office an hour before the show, even when a show is "sold out" there are still a few seats available if you don't mind not sitting together. Even the nose bleed seats are good, I actually prefer it to sitting closer because you get that great birds eye view, it's hard to see the synchronization when you starring at the dancers knees the whole night.
