You know the feeling when you move in to a new country and then for the first time feel like you're exactly where you belong, at home in that place? It's so awesome and I've felt like that since Friday. Happy, happy. I really enjoy the life here. But today I realised there is one thing missing!!!!!!!
Music festivals. I'm used to go to festivals every summer, at least one or two festivals per summer and it is always the highlight of the summer, music, new friends, fun, more fun, rock&roll, camping, roadtrip to the festival This heat and sun just puts me into that party mood you have for festivals, only here's no festivals to go
I just have to wait until July. Lots of other stuff to keep me busy here. Like my surf training..my arms hurt so much from paddling and I got big bruise on my leg (I guess from the board) I will get there one day
Just to inform my lovely brother Yeoman, it is +30c today I miss you here!!!

I googled for "Africa music festivals" in the hopes of finding you something, but alas
Speaking of a new country, admirable that you can feel this after sucha short time, It always takes me months to get there!
My immidiate feeling is always one of unmittigated excitement. Like a kid in a new toy store I guess
Re: Music festivals, I know what you mean it's one of the central points of a good summer.
Have fun!
