I haven't written anything even remotely resembling a diary-entry on the Internet for what must be about three months now; and it feels like it's about time. It's 6:30 in the morning, and usually I'd be waking up in about half an hour from now. Instead, I'm sitting in front of my computer after having awoken about 4 hours ago. I've got a nasty cold and managed to pass out from exhaustion at seven last night, only to wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to fall asleep again. Oh well, it will pass.
So what else is up in my oh-so-interesting life? Well; not much, to be honest. I'm dividing my time nicely between sleep, work and World of Warcraft, and it doesn't seem like much else is going on in my life - at least not on the surface. Despite this, my mind is in continuing turmoil as I'm trying to make sense of a number of things in my life. Sure, this might sound far more dramatic than it is, but it's actually quite an interesting experience. I learned a great deal of things about myself during 2007, and 2008 seems to be the year where Albedo goes through Nigredo and passes into Rubedo. For those not illuminated in alchemical language, I beg forgiveness, I don't know any better way to phrase it than that.
My astrology is quite interesting at this point in my life. I've got Pluto in two very interesting aspects (Opposition with my MC and Square with my Ascendant), so I can expect some very interesting couple of challenges during the next couple of months. Also, it is only a matter of time until Saturn has made a complete lap around my natal chart and I get to experience the Saturn Return. I both fear it and look forward to it at the same time.
But no; I don't want to bore you all with astrological and mystical mumbo-jumbo. Suffice it to say that my interest in the matter is large, but I won't force it upon the rest of you.
On a more casual note, life proceeds as normal. I'll be traveling quite a lot with the job during the next few months, and was actually supposed to be going to Kenya next week. Seeing as how the situation in that country isn't very encouraging, we've post-poned that trip for a later date. The next trip should be to Greece instead. When I come home, I also intend to visit Gotland and Vsters, I have old friends there that I wish to continue spending time with, one of whom I haven't seen in almost a year - the other I haven't seen in a week, but enjoyed meeting so much that I should meet up with her again.
That said, let me end this entry by wishing Loretta luck on her test today! :-)
I'm off to bed again.
