A little while ago when I was at the gym this pretty boy marine (more of a kid really) struck up a random conversation with me and of course I engaged him. One day shortly thereafter I met my boy at the gym and naturally talked to him off and on in-between sets. So this kid that day when I was standing in the "tornado muster" area watching the swimmers asks me
"Who's the big guy?"
"My husband"
"Ah."
He strikes up a conversation with my boy then. And of course my boy does not like to talk to anyone when he is working out for the most part. But he is friendly enough. Sees me watching and later asks me what was up with that. So I tell him I met the kid the other day and had talked to him a few times and he was nice...blah...blah
Today we both got there at the same time, my boy and I. The kid was already working out. My boy walks up to him and laughs:
"You can have her. She's nothing but trouble."
"Sir?"
Now I am laughing my head off but this kid won't talk to me. So hard making friends!
