Ahhh..the wages of sin! Well I guess we partied a little too hard this weekend LOL.
One of our stops Friday night was upstairs at Caberet Royale. We're sitting there and the manager come up to me with this list and says:
"What's your stage name?"
Me: "Eh?"
"I need to know what your stage name is!"
Now my boy is looking at me like there is something I should be telling him so I say to this listman
"Ummm, I'm not a dancer"
Him: "You don't work here?"
"I don't work anywhere like here."
Him: "So you don't dance here?"
"No."
Him: "So you're just here for fun?"
"Yep pretty much"
Him: "Well OK then...thanks for coming in."
It was quite entertaining. The whole time the boy going "What's going on?" "What does he want?"
Then when I got up to go feed this cute girl on VIP stage, she goes
"Thank you sweety!"
Me: "You're welcome"
"Who's it from?"
Me: "From me"
"Awwww. Thank you! Who are you sitting with?
Me: "With my husband."
*Puzzled look* "Oh so you're a customer?"
Me: "I guess"
Ahhh I'll have to come see you....you do that....where are you sitting....over there....okay I'll see you in just a bit....I'd love that....me too.....yada yada yada
Well the rest of the evening was eventful to say the least...one girl who was sitting with us was engaged to the manager who was trying to determine my "stage name" and I had much fun, my boy kept stealing my drinks when I wasn't looking. Apparently I "wasn't drinking them fast enough" And many other such things, there may have been random flashings at the behest of the girls, I'm not saying one way or the other. All in all it was excellent.
Got to hear from my brothers at home and "over there" and that was mighty good except that one of my brothers prob won't make it back home for the holidays and that sucks for his family. We joked that he'll be eating sandy fruitcake
What about everyone else's wk'end?
