I thought of you kids when I ran across this little picture. I know how much I love you girls to get naked... so, do it.
In other news, I am feeling very vintagey and girly. Here are some pictures that make me super happy.
The house is really the neatest thing because the rain gutters are a Rube Goldberg machine that plays music whenever it rains. Creative people make my heart happy.
I used to be creative. I ran across my old songbook from high school, and I haven't written since then and now I remember why. It's pretty embarrassing to read. Some of it I like, some of it baffles me (I swear I wasn't on drugs in high school!) and some of it is just sooo outdated.
I wrote this right after my ex and I broke up:
So... that's kinda depressing, right?
I wrote this a song for a different guy:
"3 a.m. in a 3rd rate diner
We last stood eye to eye
I wouldn't have covered the bill
If I'd have known you'd make me cry"
And this beauty was written in 8th grade as a joke, from "Lance Bass" to my friend after they "broke up". I could try to explain but it is so weird. Suffice to say we had a long running joke about NSYNC.... Anyway, in 10th grade I had my choir teacher write music for this and he played the piano for me while I performed this in the talent show at school. Second place. Woo.
I wonder if that girl even remembers this song... How creepy would it be if I sent it to her on facebook. Haha, then she could explain the NSYNC thing to everyone.
