As I sit here with my 2L of Sunny Delight, all hopped up on antihistamines, I take solace in the thought that no one is ever the only one.
What I mean by this is that I've noticed that when people blog about or post in threads about or even discuss how they feel alone, there is always at least one person who says "Hey, me too". It's wonderful. Not everything that they relate to each other about is positive, but the act of being able to relate to someone is glorious.
I had a few people e-mail me after my last blog, and that was wonderful. You know who you are, and you know what you said. It was hard for me to express it to one person at a time, so I would like to issue the following blanket statement: You are amazing and I love you and thank you for trusting me enough to share your experiences with me.
Most of the other "me too" instances are silly and not worth mentioning. But you should notice. And try to keep in mind that you aren't the only one. Whether you are feeling sad, hyper, stupid, violated, enamoured... Someone else has felt that way before. Someone is feeling it now.
I wonder if someone else is having thought provoking insights while on cold medicine. Probably.
I also just took this photo that I really love for some reason. My sister-in-law says it's because I look like my mom in it.
