have just returned to the u.s. of a. from australia. the menagerie i have in tow is adjusting well, although the nocturnal animals are staying up all day and the diurnal ones all night. only the koalas remain unphased, as they sleep 23 hours and 59 minutes a day anyway. the little female dingo, nikita, keeps pacing around the base of their eucalyptus tree, foaming at her snaggle-toothed yellow mouth. also, the wombat had a bout of airsickness, but thank god partially-digested-australian-bush-understory, despite its dirtiness, is quite easy to clean up.
