Crumbs, i never update. Probably because i've been sick for 3 weeks. Achoo! The only thing that consoles me are BRAND NEW TABI BOOTS!!
Spanky new off a japanese shipping boat. If i could, i would live in tabi boots. They even have a ton of rubber pads on the bottom, the better to sneak up on you with! And since one of my hobbies is to scare my roommates, these have been a valuable tool in sneakage. You have no idea how many cupards i have waited in, or doors i have stood behind, that moment of fright is tops!!!
GARDEN!
It's finally coming along. I just added soybeans, english peas, and chocolate mint to it today. But my fav two babies have got to be my wormwood and salvia divinorum. Sadly, the salvia got spider mites and is now fighting for it's life.
Even better, they were giving away free compost at the farmers market today. It must have been a sight to see me in my blue dress shoveling large amounts of dirt into a bag while my boy held my purse.

that's awesome- i assume you mean from undergrad? after teaching an intro astro majors class, i'm pretty convinced that berkeley is one of the toughest programs. those kids are way smarter than i am, for sure!
