well this weekend was a blast and, despite what the calendar might say, it's not over yet. on friday night i danced at the moulin rouge themed private party. i got paid generously with the bonus of as many girly drinks as my little heart desired. then on saturday i wrote an eight page research paper, and then went to that dance party i'd mentioned as a reward. it was a great time, i knew all sorts of people there and shook my little ass like mad. everyone there could really dance, too. i think a quality dance party is one of the more sexual experiences in life (aside from all of that between the sheets business, that is). when i got home it was two a.m., i think, but my friend glendon was intent on smoking me up, so who am i to argue? i got ridiculously stoned and on a huge conspiracy theory kick. i've been having to think so intensely all the time academically that when i'm tired and altered my mind just has a field day.
yesterday didn't prove to be as productive as its predecessor as far as the paper-writing goes, but i did have some unexpected phone sex, and i think that counts for something.
tonight i'm seeing john waters do his new performance piece, and then meeting him at the after-party. maybe i'll be able to convince him to give me a walk-on roll in his next film. i always make these sort of plans, but when i meet famous people i tend to avoid being abnoxious like that and instead try to just treat them as i would any other person of interest. charitable of me, don't you think? just nod and smile. that's right.
i just got a present in the mail from someone i met when i was in seattle last summer. it's a t-shirt that says, "save a horse, ride a cowboy." hahaha. i love it. i'm going to wear it until it's stinky and full of holes.
i hope everyone had an acceptable weekend and that you're not letting monday get you down.

ps if anyone wants to deign a pirate smily (or scowly, even better) without a beard i promise to use it regularly.
