The Decemberists were so fucking amazing live.
AMAZING! I love them soooo much. I was smiling for the ENTIRE show. I saw Jesus at the show as well. Apparently, Christ doesn't bathe and he actually wears his sandals in the winter as well. It was pretty surprising. I'm glad I didn't have to stand next to him though... walking past him was enough to make my nose hairs curl.
I have decided that I also love driving rental cars. Its so much more fun to drive them than it is your own car. I put 900 miles on this puppy in three days. Pretty awesome, eh? I was also almost run off the road by a MONSTROUS Dodge Ram on steroids in the rain going over Snoqualmie pass in the dark. Even better, about 50 miles later, I saw the same vehicle pulled over by a state trooper and getting issued a ticket. I smiled with glee.
It felt so good to be in the Emerald City again. I miss it. I felt like when I was there I hadn't missed out on any time. I knew exactly where everything was and how to get places... everything felt comfortable.
This time, however, my ID was horizontal in stead of vertical.
