I think I finally figured out how my body works when it comes to losing weight. When my weight gets close to a round number, my body clicks over to survival mode. In my head, I think it is saying:
"Hold the fuck up, Blake! What the fuck around you doing. I need all of my emergecy fat. What if you get traped somewhere for a long time? You are going to need every single fat cell you have."
At this point, I do not let that intimidate. I continue doing my regular workout everyday and control what I eat, but I stay at the same weight for a couple of weeks. This is my body saying:
"NOOOO! I WILL NOT LET YOU! IT IS MINE!"
But I keep it up and than just out of no where the weight just starts falling off like an open dam. This is where my body starts to whine:
"You suck. I will get it back just wait. You might get these few pounds off but that is it. You can not have anymore. I must keep all of the rest of it"
This seems to go on every month. And no I do not actually here voices. That make complete sentances anyway.
