It's here! So much life happening had a pretty wild year last year, ups and downs. The Kiddo arrived in January and is now a year old!!! He's getting better and better at walking and is super chatty for a kid that hasn't really said any actual words yet. I love him to pieces despite the fact he drives me nuts at times. I'm good with most things he does but I can't handle when he gets really screechy, it isn't often but it just pushes a certain button that makes me angry. Aside from that he's a really great little kid, he's started sleeping through the whole night finally but was only waking up 2-3 times before so I didn't notice much. I found out I have moderate sleep apnea, as much as that sucks I'm just looking forward to getting a cpap machine and some relief. I have been sleeping like shit since September, just in a mental fog most of the time, and kinda low energy. I've been hard core napping every other day in the afternoon/early evening which is never really good. Not sure why it's been a problem now, the kid may be related, but seems like I've had sleep apnea for a long time, and it's a lot more common than you might think. Main reason I wanted to post though is I read a really great book. Best of all it's short and very straightforward. I'm even sending it to five people I know because it's a game changer.
I think most of us have messy homes and we aren't really fans of that. It can be an unending challenge to keep things in order, the Author Mari Kondo is a Japanese Tidying fanatic. She explains everything about her own experience with tidying and how she came up with her method that operates on a very simple premise. Surround yourself with the things you love and the things that spark joy in your life and get rid of the rest. Her method has a logical order that involves you interacting with everything you own. The main thing is you only have to really go through all your stuff once. 'So do it, do it now!!!' -Arnold Schwarzenegger The process is meant to be short but by short think within 6 months. Not a huge span of time in the grand scheme of things and worth the trouble if it works. I read the book and I'm convinced it works. Not sure about it check out her tv show on Netflix. It reads easy and has only 200 some pages. I read it in a day and got my wife to get a copy from the library yesterday. She's already over halfway done. We are going to give this a shot and I'm super excited about it. I also picked up one of my favorite old books to flip through why I wait for her to finish so we can start together. This will be my big project for the year so I'll take lots of photos and try to keep ya'll in the loop!
Hope you all are doing well!!! Here's some of my favorite brand of silliness to help make your day!
