Hey ya'll!
So I'm still wrestling with the colossal catch up post! I really want to get it up here it's just a very low priority. = / So I'm just gunna side track and get back to it later, this year I mean it! >< lol
On the plus side my wife and I's formal 9 yards wedding approaches!!! Just over one month to go! We are both really super excited it's going to be epic! I will have tons to share. My whole family is gathering from out scattered wanderings and I'm keeping my retired dad around for awhile after! Adventure time!
My promotion test approaches next month too, I missed by a hair last year so I've been hitting the books earlier and harder this year. I got this one, it just steals my spare time. I've been playing the newest Fallout and XCOM 2 with what little spare time I have. So stress wise I'm still strolling like a boss! My wife is struggling with it though and has had more than a few bad dreams = ( She's a worrier though. I do the best I can to mitigate that, it's just frustrating trying to kill something you have no power over.
On that note I saw this really great TED talk that my sister shared on FB and I wanted to share it with ya'll too!!!
Lucky for me I've kinda been practicing this most my life already. Which probably has a lot to do with why I am so awesome! /flex lol Seriously though I will be keeping this in mind when I feel like I'm in the wrong place or just powerless/stressed. Which is much more often than I let people around me know about. The world never stops no matter how much it feels like it might.
Hope ya'll check that out, it's 20 minutes but worth it. Ya'll stay safe out and grats to any Denver fans out there. Ya'll have a great week! = )
