Hey ya'll!
Hope all is well with ya and ya'll had a fantastic and safe memorial day weekend/normal weekend for those of you not in the states = ) Mine has been really great. I got a nice surprise this week, my regular day off is thursdays every other week. But this week the whole base was doing sexual assault prevention and response training, which they really beat into us til the point was dead. Even the other shift that was off duty had to come in. The first half of the day was really good, we had an hour long commanders call with our group commander then broke up into our own work centers for small group discussions. I had volunteered to lead it for my shop and they trained us up on it over two days about a month ago. It went really well and took the whole three hours to do they said it would. Thankfully for me I had a CPR class after lunch so I got out of doing the rest of the day which was a few more videos and just the same stuff over and over, everyone that went didn't have much positive feedback. I led another shorter small group for the other shift the next morning so all of that ended up eating my blog time. I also had tons of fun playing Diablo III while I was off, it was worth it! = )
On the plus side my day off got bumped to saturday, so I got til chill an extra day/evening with the girl friend. Nothing fancy and no big pictures this go around, though I did get this crazy panda face bruise on my bicep during jiu jitsu. My gi also got here this week, so I've got one that's the right size. It shipped separately from my belt and that's not here yet, so I'll show ya'll that when I have them both.
Sunday my shift had a going away dinner for two of our guys at a chinese buffet. It was really good and I had some shark fin soup that was really good. I think the way they go about harvesting the fins is really fucked up and needs to stop, seriously wasteful and over fishing a critical predator, but I wasn't going to let it go to waste since it was there. Afterwards we where all shooting the shit out front taking lots of fun big shift group photos and hanging out for about an hour. The whole time this really creepy lady, whom I've never met or seen before, that was by herself was just standing off to the side mean mugging the shit out of me. She looked to be in her forties and had the kind of hair style my grandma wore when she was my age. We all started to notice and try to figure out who it was she was staring at. When we narrowed it down to me I moved around our group (about 20 people) and she kept watching me so it's confirmed I now have a crazy mystery stalker! = X It honestly didn't bother me too much aside from being really strange, though it really unnerved my girlfriend. She finally left and walked into a sporting goods store above toys r us (they're everywhere!) after our group moved across the street. I'll still be very happy never to see her again. Either way I'm going to have stalker jokes for the rest of the time I'm here following me around haha.
This week I'm busy again but will have evenings mostly off as I'm in this jr management seminar thing. So far it's going pretty good but it's all day lecturing so I picked up a few 5 hour energy so I don't nod off during them. Something I'm horribly bad at, especially in the afternoon after lunch, I even nodded off playing Diablo III on the xbox with my girlfriend this weekend, though there where other factors involved in that one ; ) Anyway I'll try and keep this quick, I needs my sleep.
Ya'll have done alot over the last few weeks so I'll throw this out now before it gets too ridiculous. There's been all kinds of goodness (blogs, mini sets, sets and videos!) piling up since I did my last blog, unfortunately I've been crazy busy. So before this list of good stuff gets any bigger, here's what I found of note = )
@quiver_ 's latest set Adore came out and she just got a new ink! Awesome set and it's kicking ass so check it out and help her go pink!
@storm 's debut set Siberia is out and also doing great! She also did a brief pre-release vlog which are always fun.
@riae put out some more really neat shots in her latest blog in a big huge open field of grass in a chair, it's epic.
@almost_missed while on an ultra unsecret mission studying in the books, has taken a breath of air and put out a very fun advice blog with some...enjoyable videos, that could probably be somewhere in that cuteness group if they aren't already.
@miniel has been working her tail off but dropped by to share some photos from modeling she's done that are pretty kewl and also give us a vlog update.
@skunchsquirrel put out an unofficial set for us done off her webcam, Holy Hell it's pretty sweet and worth the visit = )
@mirmaiddee shared a fun little mini she did while hiking out in the wonderful woods of Oregon, like all good things they're worth the effort and unfortunately not all together, though I'm pretty sure I saw them all together first in a blog. Either way, home always puts a smile on my face, especially when accompanied by a lovely gal ; )
@euphemia has a really kewl set out Arcane Liaison where she's romping around a nifty castlesque building!
@dutch shared a mini set of her doing modeling type stuff in color and black in white, which is pretty fun to compare. I also saw some really nifty tall grass at the park and shot this one just for you (I'm pretty sure it was you, I have serious guy memory with these things sometimes >< so my apologies if I'm mistaken) = )
@roggen has finally released another episode of Brewicide!!!!
@ecco put up another video of her singing!!
@maud has put out three new mini sets of pin upy goodness, my eyes are glad she's not chocolate or they'd be on the treadmill lol = )
@ambermae has her debut set Lonely in Blue out and this really epic set Winter Wonderland with her playing in the freezing cold snow!!! Kinda strange they dropped so close together but I'm not complaining, the snow one is really cool!
@dimples latest set In Leather is out, it's really awesome, she's stunning as always and the sun coming up at the end makes for some really sweet/nifty lighting shots!
@flowerbomb did a fun little mini on the couch for us.
@pebblezink did a new vlog, I enjoy hers especially, they are always fun!
