So first off the football games yesterday where totally awesome! Denver and Seattle both won and I wanted to see them both make it to the super bowl! It's going to be such a great game! I'm a big Seahawks fan being a Washington native so I love seeing our team do so well. Our fans totally rock too, that guiness book of world records record for loudest stadium is no joke. The 12th man totally played his part on our road to the super bowl I can't wait for another shot at it. The bronco's are one of my favorite teams too and Manning is a great quarterback/player. So I get a win either way really. Plus as good as both teams are I expect the officiating (however terrible it might be) won't throw the game like it did when played the Stealers last time! >= \
Beating the Niners was great, I even had a personal bet going with a guy so I was a little nervous in those final seconds. We upped the bet in the first quarter too. I felt a little change wasn't a real bet unless someone also shaved their head or something. He didn't have that kind of faith in his team so opted for buying the opposing teams jersey to wear during the super bowl as well as making a picture of yourself in said jersey and making it your fb profile pic for a week (I'm totally sharing this haha). I'd rather just shave my head, that shame will grow back in a few weeks! ; ) So now I'm also going to be getting a #12 jersey after the super bowl, which I'm totally getting signed. I do want to say for all the niners fans out there, it was a fantastic game. Your defense did a great job and made it really hard for Wilson to do much. The calls where a lot of bullshit. I'm glad we didn't make that goal line td after that fumble Bowman came up with and got horribly injured on >< They practically handed us a freebie on that one and it would have ruined the game had we made it. Our defense still stopped ya'll and I'm glad they had the chance to prove that, repeatedly = )
More importantly, it's totally SNOWING outside!!! We had enough of a built up last night to make things a little icy. Totally ate it 100ft from the station biking home. So I left my bike at work and walked home instead. The black ice totally got me, and it hasn't done that in ages. I'm definitely going to be playing in it and making snow things later despite still being a little sick. I caught the flu bug that started going around the station this weekend but I'm past the worst of it. Thankfully it didn't hit me as hard as some of the guys. I got off with just a light fever/headaches/sore throat/cough. The cough is pretty nasty though, feels like you're hacking up a lung and it's real phlegmy. A little sleep, chicken/tomatoe soup, and day quil have been taking good care of me. I'm gunna restock on soup. I have a bad feeling this sore throat/cough are gunna linger awhile but everything else has thankfully cleared up.
I've also got a package waiting for me. So now that everything's open I'm gunna run out and pick it up. Not exactly sure what it is but I have a few ideas. Packages are always exciting! Plus I get to play in the snow on the way! They're the big fluffy flakes too! Gunna make some fantastic snow balls, 'work' is going to be very fun tomorrow. Pictures to come! >= )
