so just a little something to tide you all over while I work the next couple of days-
work is looking kind of insane, I checked my email from home so that I don't have like 2 hours worth to read when I get to work. The kids are going ape shit and I'm not sure why. A couple that have actually been really good for the last couple months have decided to act out in epic proportions. I can't go into detail due to confidentiality stuff (and I don't want to lose my job just yet) but a couple are reverting to the kind of behavior that got them in placement in the first place. Not good. And depressing to think that we can work with a kid for like 2 years and have no effect whatsoever. We've also got a new kid who thinks that he's just the shit, and those are always a pain. Ding dong, it's pyrat at your door with a delivery of rude awakening, and a side of crow. Bon Appetit. Heh. Anyway, once more unto the breach...

Back to you PW. Life is an interesting beast. One minute you can be content with the state of your existence. The next you can realize your dearest friend keeps you as an object of obsession. It really rocks the world I live in. Adolescents are an interesting breed. I believe we all go through high school as a rite of passage. If you can make it out alive and in one piece the rest of the world is easy.
