I'm beginning to learn as I get older that there are no absolutes left in life. Everything is a shade of grey. Nothing is entirely good, or bad. Black or white, etc.

Anything that seems like it has the possibility of being an absolute perhaps just hasn't been around long enough. In time, something else will eclipse it, or beliefs will change and evolve so as to make it a shade of the median grey.

And nothing - I repeat, nothing is actually what it looks like. Nothing is as it seems. Thanks, Chuck, I owe you one for that.

for now, color me the grey shade of still sick. Not as bad as yesterday, but certainly not recovered either.

general moralistic observation / suggestion of the night:

keep your promises, boys and girls. While no one particularly notices if you always keep your promises, they'll notice damn quick if you break a promise once or twice, and they'll be slow to take you at your word again.
